What are the Daily, Consistent Actions I keep talking about?
So if you’ve spent anytime at all watching my videos, you know that I speak about the 16-week one-on-one coaching program I refer to getting you to do the daily consistent actions required for you to be successful in the real estate business. So exactly what are the daily consistent actions I’m talking about? In this video I thought I’d break those down for you so you have a better understanding of what is going to be expected of you during the coaching program and the things that you need to be doing on a daily consistent basis in order to be successful in this business.
So how does each day start off?
It’s really quite simple.
First work closest to the money or closest to those things that will get you paid. Getting negotiated deals on paper, finding buyers for deals you have under contract, then getting the title company moving on getting your deals closed.
After that is all done then we focus on 2 things and only these 2 things: getting our marketing out and talking to sellers – this is the lifeblood of our business. These 2 things are so important to your success in this business, they are what you should be spending the bulk of your day on EVERY SINGLE DAY!
But what about…?
I can hear you all now – but Ben what about business cards? What about setting up my LLC? What about my operating agreement? – What about podio?
These things can all wait. Make some damn money first!
Real Estate Cold Calling
And here’s some good news – The best part is that those 2 things can boil down to just one thing if you are building your business around cold calling. Just call until you have something better to do – it literally does not get any easier than that.
• Breaking your calling sessions down involves starting with any follow-up calls you have scheduled. Again working on things that are closer to you getting paid should be your focus. Then do Cold calling the rest of the day.
• It’s one of the reasons I love this business. At its essence it is extremely straightforward. We get to spend our days talking to people on the phone. We help them solve problems that may be causing them a significant financial strain or mental burden. And if we do it right, and stay consistent, we get paid a lot of money.
So to sum things up, start out each day working closest to the money. As you continue through the day you should be spending the bulk of your time on following up with sellers you’ve spoken to previously and then cold calling those people you haven’t spoken to before.
That’s it, that’s the list.
